📢“This scholarship program represents exactly the kind of forward-thinking investment our communities deserve. As JFK undergoes historic redevelopment, it is essential that the young people who live in the neighborhoods surrounding the airport have a direct pathway into the careers being created there. By providing full-tuition opportunities at Vaughn College and the CUNY Aviation Center at York College, we are not just building terminals; we are building futures,” said New York state Senator James Sanders Jr.

“I commend the Port Authority and its partners for ensuring that Southeast Queens students are positioned to lead in aviation, engineering, and the next generation of airport operations. Of course I would like to see more.”
